Get your PDF4me API key
Every PDF4me connection in Power Automate authenticates with your API key, so set this up first. Create a free PDF4me account, open the dashboard and copy the full key from API Calls & Key. Keep it somewhere safe, with no extra spaces.

Open Connections in Power Automate
Sign in to Power Automate with your API key ready. Open the Data menu and choose Connections, where all of your connectors are managed. This is where you add PDF4me so your flows can call it.

Add the PDF4me Connect connector
Click New connection, search for PDF4me, and choose PDF4me Connect. It uses API-key authentication, the simplest option for automated flows. A separate PDF4me connector is also available if you prefer signing in with OAuth.

Enter your API key to authenticate
In the pop-up, paste the PDF4me API key you copied and confirm. Once the connection is created, every PDF4me action is available in your flows, from convert and merge to barcodes, stamps and data extraction.

Is PDF4me a trigger or an action?
It is an action connector. It runs inside a flow started by any trigger you already use, such as a SharePoint file created, an email arriving, a Forms response or a schedule.
Do I need a premium licence?
PDF4me is a premium-tier Power Automate connector, so running it needs a Power Automate plan that includes premium connectors. Microsoft's licensing FAQ covers the owner-versus-runner rules.
How is PDF4me billed?
By API usage, separate from your Microsoft licence. You start free with no credit card and only pay as you scale.
How do I get an API key?
Create a free PDF4me account, open the dashboard and copy your key from API Keys, then paste it once when you add the connection. See the getting-started guide.
